The Grange Primary School

We have a school uniform which we expect all children to wear.

The school uniform items are:

• Dark green sweatshirts or cardigans.
• A white T-shirt.
• Grey or black trousers or skirts.
• Practical black shoes (no heels or trainers) that offer good support.
• In summer, plain shorts and white t-shirts or green gingham dresses can be worn.

School clothing should be comfortable, practical and not designer. There is no expectation to purchase items with the school logo on, however they are available at Shah’s on West Street in Scunthorpe, or from My Clothing (see link below). Plain uniform is available at low cost from wide ranging supermarkets and clothing stores.

Feel Good Friday

On Fridays we celebrate Feel Good Friday with non uniform. Children can wear their own clothing but we ask parents and carers to ensure that it is practical for wearing in school e.g. no heeled shoes or crocs.

PE Kit

Our PE kit is:

• a plain white t-shirt.
• plain black shorts.
• plimsolls for inside and trainers for outside.
• During the winter, pupils may wear a jogging suit outside.

For Inter-school competitions we have a kit, which we keep in school, for our pupils to wear (t-shirt, shorts and a hoodie printed with the school logo). This will be provided on the morning of the competition for the children to change into.
