What is the PE and Sport Premium?

The PE and Sport Premium is additional government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of PE, physical activity and sport.

The funding is used to make sustainable improvements to PE and sport provision, develop staff expertise and provide children with opportunities to be physically active and experience a broad range of sports and activities.

Our Vision

At The Grange Primary School, we want every child to be active, enjoy physical activity and develop healthy habits for life.

We aim to keep children active not only through high-quality PE lessons, but also across the curriculum, during playtimes and lunchtimes, and through wider sporting opportunities.

We use our PE and Sport Premium to enhance our provision, develop staff confidence and expertise, increase participation in physical activity and competitive sport, and ensure that all children have opportunities to be active, develop their skills and experience the enjoyment that sport and physical activity can bring.
